On this special safari tour, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in the fascinating and beautiful Kenya scenery and wildlife. Your safari driver/guide will share his knowledge and experience as he drives you to the savannahs, lush jungles, and shimmering lakes, all teeming with every sort of wildlife.
You’ll observe the big five from your safari vehicle comfortably and safely. You’ll also have the chance to sail, hike, and even bike ride past gently grazing animals(if interested). Your vacation starts in Nairobi, driving to Amboseli safari Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. This safari park is home to herds of elephants. Wildebeest, zebra, lion, cheetah, and more dominate the park.
After the Amboseli safari, proceeds to Aberdare National Park, set in a lush rainforest with high waterfalls; your stay here is in a tree hotel! From your balcony, you can view elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and hyenas among the wildlife found in this unique park.
On your way to the Aberdares National park, stop at coffee/tea plantations and markets to experience the local culture. The park is known for its herds of black rhinos and chimpanzee sanctuary. But also watch for zebra, cheetah, lion, and even wild dogs.
Your vacation continues to Thompson’s Falls and on to Lake Naivasha. Here you’ll take a boat ride past hippos, diverse bird life, and small wildlife on the shore. The Crescent Island is home to giraffes, zebra, impala, and birds. Optional cycling safari around Hell’s Gate National Park, past grazing giraffes, zebra, and antelope.
After all the wildlife and scenery we have seen in the Amboseli, Aberdares, and Lake Naivasha, prepare for the big photo safari. Your final and perhaps biggest adventure is at the Masai Mara. This vast savannah has a diversity of wildlife in Kenya. You’ll spend three days exploring this famous park.
The Maasai people live inside the safari park, and visiting the village for a small fee is recommended. Also, what better way to view wildlife is better on a balloon ride at US$450 per person per ride?
