Overview
Water rafting in Kenya can be done in three rivers: Tana, Arthi, and Mathioya. River Tana is all-season rafting, but rivers Mathioya and Arthi are seasonal rafting.
The Tana River in Kenya (known as river Sagana) is the best location for white water rafting in Kenya.
The Tana river is about 2 hours drive from Nairobi. Therefore, the trip will be one day unless the guest wants to spend the night in Nyeri town.
The river is calm but, in some areas, can be rough and needs
Teamwork to succeed.
Water rafting is an outdoor recreational adventure that uses an inflatable raft to navigate a river. The movement is done in a flowing river which needs your control as the river may be flowing at a rough speed, accelerating considerable risk, which is a part of the adventure.
