Serengeti National Park boarders Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Migration happens every year between the two National Pakt. The wildebeest, known as gunue by the locals, cross rivers to migrate to the other side for green pastures. Unfortunately, the crocodiles await in the river for the wildebeest to start crossing and catch them for a meal. Lions follow the migration for a better catch as the animals wait to cross the river.
The scene is fantastic, and visitors watch the action for hours.
The park is a World Heritage site teeming with wildlife. Over 3 million wildlife inhabits the plains of Serengeti.
Seeing the wildlife in their natural habitat is always a dream come true. In Serengeti, the elephants have dominated the area, and you can spot a family of 10 or more.
The visitors to Serengeti will hear about the Big Five; this park is the best spot for them. Three of the big cats are also spotted in Serengeti,
On the northern, Serengeti is the best route for the annual migration; if your dream is to see animal migration visit Serengeti in April, May, and June before the migration goes back to Masai Mara.
PEOPLE AND CULTURE
Kenya is a safari country as well as a cultural heritage destination. The overwhelming appeal of the wildlife sanctuaries, glorious beaches, breathtaking scenery in a vast and unspoiled land, an almost perfect climate, sophisticated accommodation, and hospitable happy people.
With the gifts of nature bestowed in such profusion, Kenya remains the first choice country to visit in Africa. There is so much to see, and the difficulty lies in deciding what to leave out of a Kenyan safari. However, after the hard work the incentive award winners put in, they can enjoy a holiday like no other.
In the national parks and reserves, they can enjoy watching the wild animals from the proximity of open-top vehicles, and professional drivers and tour leaders will show them the animals in their natural settings. In the culture, they can enjoy interacting with cultures formed by 63 tribes and languages but live in harmony. Truly Kenya is the most admired country in the world.
The tours and safaris involve the famous 7th wonder of the world, which is found in Kenya. The impressive wildlife migration is based in Masai mara. Thousands and thousands of wildebeest, followed by other animals, move from Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park in TANZANIA. The movement is fantastic, especially at the river crossing point. As the wildebeest jumped into the Mara River, crocodiles waited for a catch as the lions followed the migration. The river is a point of no return; either jump or risk retreating to the lions. The wildlife is too many such that it can take the whole month. Once the wildebeest make a crossing path, they will follow suit till the end. So the tourist is stuck every day watching the game of the crocodile, the wildebeest, and the lions; the opportunist hyena is included.
